I knew we would be making our Vance-safe Valentine Candy for our friends but fought the temptation to make her change to be more color coordinated for the holiday. (I knew I would be taking pictures.) Then when it was time for their part in candy making Vance had put on Ella's tutu. Really? If anything, it made for a great picture and one day they will know that Mommy let them be themselves. Even if it embarrasses them when they are older.
If you're curious our Vance-safe candy was a Sesame Seed treat. It was sesame seeds, honey & brown sugar. Far from the traditional chocolates but not bad.
